Further to the crankshaft sensor failure back in June, I experienced another failure today, this time with the wheels and had to call out the recovery service again in 38 dec celcuis heat.
I was driving along at about 60 kmph and suddenly there was strange sensation like the brakes were engaging. I had to brake anyway and then just couldn't move the car. The gears were engaging but if felt like the handbrake was on only stronger. With D selected I could only edge the car forwards slightly. Even in neutral it wouldn't move as I might have expected it to given I was on a incline. What can make the wheels lock up like that? :o No warning lights nothing.
Anyway the wife and daughter came to the rescue like the Powerpuff girls in the Honda CR-V. ;D and we watched the Omega being loaded on the back of the resuce truck and off to Mannai for repairs.

Have known failed master cylinder seals lock brakes on. Try cracking bleed valves on calipers open a touch - if brake fluid spurts out under pressure thats yer problem.
