as above, makes on differance what revs poodleing in traffic on part throttle no problem. Put your foot down ba b ba b ba up to about 4 and it seems to clear. Cam sensor? Having trouble with paper clip test, will try with thicker wire.
-
its a 99 face lift by the way. paper clip test def not working have just checked the dash warning light bulbs and are working, it has the car symbol with spanner through it but not a peep. The engine symbol comes on but and goes out when paper clip added after ignition is turned on, but no flashing, which light flashes on these?
-
hiya, how did your problem start?
also is it auto or manual?
-
pretty sure p/clip test wont work on later models.I do recall reading something about pressing pedals in a particular sequence to display the codes, dont know any details, sorry.
A search through the threads might reveal something. :-/

its a manual, car been running bad for about 5 weeks, not my car its a mates, does not drive badly at all, miss daisy would not notice the problem, its just when you put your foot down it stutters .
Having replaced the dash the radio and display have stopped working. Why does it do that my cid on my car did the same when i fixed the dash lights.

Aux belt off. move cable tray. undo camcover nuts. remove camcover. unplug connector on sensor. remove bolt holding sensor. :y

by gas i mean accelerator pedal, not lpg ;D ;) let it rev out on a part throttle and its not to bad, but boot it and it stutters like your stamping on and off the pedal.
