Title: Headlight Levelling
Post by: Big Bri on 05 October 2008, 16:59:49
I get the message Low Beam Fld/Vision so I replaced the motors and sensors with ones from a car that the headlight levelling is said to be working on, the motors retract back in when the ignition is turned on but i still get the message. Any ideas what could be causing this? Is there an ECU for the headlight levelling?

Thanks.

One of the level switches on either the front near side wishbone or rear near side radius arm could be fubar'd. A Tech II will tell you what's upsetting the system.

The motors retract when the ignition is turned on so could this just be sensor failure?, could the ones I have just bought also be faulty?

Thanks

Have you checked the sensors on the front and rear nearside suspension arms to see if the link arms are intact as they have a habit of either breaking or popping off ::)
