I thought my car had a galactic mileage at 154K until ElitePete mentioned his had done 172K.
What kind of mileages are you guys at, anyone beat Pete's?

Why not post your mileage here (http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=phH9jJ7FuSBeEt5Enh48DSg&hl=en_GB&pli=1)?
It is a spreadsheet for Omega data and can be used to log any info you like. If you want to add data you will need to let me have an email address so that you can be given the relevant permission. :y
-
Only 93k here, but I'm sure the V6 has got plenty life left in it.

you need to start carrying a cake around for the party at 100k ;D
-
Just passed the 20K mark. In human terms that means not ready for playgroup yet. ;)
-
only 71000 for me don't get out much
-
154k for my 3.0 MV6, although it had done over 100k in the first 3 years of police ownership. It also had a top end rebuild about 3 years ago when the belt snapped. The odd electrical niggle, and a noisy diff, but it's still going well.
-
Just passed 174K on mine at the weekend... surprisingly seems I've got the highest mileage in this thread. Mileage is slowly edging up now as I barely use the car since moving into the city centre so I expect some of the guys on 170K to have passed my mileage shortly. Saying that, I have toyed with the idea of giving the Omega to my dad to use for going to work as he does 60+ miles per day, and I could just use my BMW instead, but I'd be stuck if I need to carry more than one passenger so the Omega stays doing mostly nothing for now.
-
Mine is at 129k but i would say 95% is motoway runing at 70 so not much. Due an oil change soon to keep it runing nice. :y
-
:)Impressed with some of the intergalactic mileages posted. When some of you lent your Migs to Capt. Kirk he must've let Spock have a go! :D
-
MINES JUST PASSED 64,500. :) :)
-
103k, just about run in ;)
-
Well my 2.2 is only on 107k now......but if its still going in 18months time....it should be upto the 200k mark :-/ :-X and then 6y's old and too old for my use :'(
-
160.000 and rising to bl--dy much [ just become a grandad ] this is not just any car this is an OMEGA ;)
-
My bargain Elite estate's done 114k but you wouldn't think so :) It's amazing that you can find a car with half that mileage which feels like pooh but then a meega with 114k feels superb! Says it all really.
Humpy
-
108,500 and running like a dream! :y
-
126,000 on the Estate so im still running it in ;)
-
107k on my one :y

Agreed, they do take the miles well. I remember years ago my dad had an Astra company car, and by the time it had 60,000 miles on it (many of which were motorway miles) the gearshift was like stirring a pot of porridge and there was noticeable slack in the steering. The gearshift on my Omega still has very little play and the steering had no noticeable slack at all. They do feel a lot better built than most other Vauxhalls (possibly something to do with being re-badged Opels built in Germany?)
One thing they don't fare so well with is age -- the rust inevitably gets them, particularly the doors and rear wheel arches. Mine is doing pretty well in this regard but I guess it's a matter of time :-X
-
Mine's on just under 175,000
-
i read on a help thread someone's TD has 315k??
-
im on 275,000 and still going strong :y

Just needs a standard Google login by the looks of it. So if you have a Gmail account use the login for that. Although it appears you need to be authorised to make any changes.

Good, I entirely missed out at the lakes due to it taking longer than planned to get back from Wrynose and Hardnot...
