Yes it took OVER a month, so long that it was resent as missing.

 :)Postal items are slowly catching up now. I've got 5 items to collect from Immingham sorting office tomorrow. Better to recieve them late than lose them.

The stuff that gets delayed during strike only gets processed when the current items are cleared - standard business practice...

This seems to happen a lot. I recently changed one of my bank A/C statements to be sent on the 15th. The first one did, the next went back to the end of the month. I phoned the bank (there is another way!), and got it changed again. That one arrived ok, but the next one didn't. I just phoned up today to discover they had programmed it to be sent out quarterly!. Trouble is they take incompetant people, give them a crap computer system, and expect everything to work properly. "Garbage in, Garbage out" .
