Title: fault codes need help.

had mate do the tech 2 on my facelift.the 1st code that came out was 0747...then he did the test again and 3 codes were registered saying 1781  0700  0747.any one know what these codes are,and how to fix them.most appreciated  :( :y

Auto or Manual Transmission?

IIRC 0700 is transmission ecu error. Is the engine management lamp on and does the car drive OK?

its an auto,and drives ok.but every couple of weeks it goes into limp,so i turn it off and restart it and its fine again.

what codes were in gearbox?

Was it a proper tech2? Does he know how to use it?

the codes shown were 0747  0420 0700 and one i dont know 1781.it wasnt a tech 2 but similar a gunson fault code reader. :y
