Once over maybe 20mph press the top rear button, this will hold your speed. press it again to go faster, press the top front button to slow down.
Press the bottom button, the brake or clutch will cancel the cruise
Pressing the top front button will bring you back up to speed.

Yep as above I've just fitted cruise control to my TD.
Is that the correct one shown in your pic, mine I think was only 2 wire fitting, I may be wrong though.

yup i believe it is a 2 wire unit on diesels, it is on mine but mine is a little older, dont know if it changed on the later ones, the operation of the cruise is covered in the owners handbook if you have one, if you want the explaination of how it works i can dig it out but will take some typing & im a slow typist [2 finger job ;)] :y

Wow, never knew that...just thought you pressed the top button to hold speed and bottom to cancel!!! :o :-/

if youve got a drivers manual TS 1433-A-94 its on page 91 :y

Read the manual on this especially the section about the application to the TD. I think without digging the manual out myself states that the front top button (slowing down) is inoperative on the diesel engine, you just press the bottom one to cancel the speed setting, or of course just touching any pedal does the same thing.

it's not working, nothing happened :-/
it must hold my speed, but nothing :-/
maybe some diagnostics will help (opel tech or autoboss),and it will show the problem maybe ::) what do you think?
I checked my switch with cruise control on another omega B TD, and it's working
i think the problem is somewhere deeper in my car, not in switch

cruise only operates above 25mph, then push top front button , it should then work, to resume selected speed push [R], this again only works above 25mph, you should also be able to increase speed in increments of 2mph by pushig whilst in cruise mode, if as you say its not working perhaps you should have a tech done on it or a paperclip test i think brings it up, C,C should show up as O/C [open circuit] without the stalk fitted [cant remember code no], then try with stalk fitted & see if C,C O/C code goes away, i was told by TB that all diesels are "plug & play" on cruise, mine worked o,k & mine is a 95 td,
the only thing i can think of is that perhaps the ecu has been changed at sometime by vx & cruise was left from the programming of it, but im only guessing.

I know on petrol models i had to have it activated by the Tech 2 machine by Vx .... not sure if its the same with the tractors though :-/
