Title: car wont start

my fan belt went the other day and of course steering went stiff then engine stopped.
towed it home replaced fan belt. the motors turning but the car wont start. have i done something wrong, im quite sure i havent fitted the belt incorrectly as it only seems to fit one way. as i say it just dosent seem to be firing

please help :'(

wo nearly sliipped through there doc, has the belt taken any electrics with it? try paper clip test see if any fault codes.

also check your service record and make sure the cam belt is not over due, if one has failed lets hope the other does not £££££ :o

How long did you keep driving after the fan belt went before it stopped?  The water pump runs on the fan belt................... :o :o
