Im now wondering if my head gasket is going causing the hissing in the plenum as all other avenues have been checked. The car has been a pain ever since getting it back from VX. Theres no loss of coolant, a little bit of mayo on the oil filler cap, but it does do alot of short journeys. The hissing is coming form the left hand side of the plenum ive checked all vacuum pipes and hoses all are ok. Im gonna try changing the Dis pack cause the plugs were in oil and when i got it back from VX they broke number six lead and it misfired. It did pass the emissions test last month, even though it was still hissing. So im out of clues. Still got to change the Crank sensor for a genuine VX one.

Hissing from the plenum will (most likely) be the little horseshoe rubber seal between the breather box (mounted on the plenum) and the plenum...

hi changed that little seal, 2 weeks ago, changed all plenum seals throttle body seals. The car pinks when it gets hot, so i was thinking dis pack.
