Just got a parcel shelf with rear blind & cut out for bose speakers. Whats the best way to cut out the metal shelf for the speakers. Whas hoping it would be perforated so i could just knock it out. Thanks
-
every one i have fitted bose into the holes were there just needed a punch to remove metal ! :y
-
Nice one i hope so. Had visions of having to cut it.

98 MV6 i have now has the cut outs, 99 MV6 i just sold had a solid shelf, think its the luck of the draw :-/
-
seems 1999 and on do not have knockouts.
I did a quick template for Marks DTM, not sure if he's had chance to use it yet...

I cant see any sign of a knock out. Not removed shelf yet though just looked under shelf from boot.

My '99 CDX ain't got the holes - solid shelf. I was wondering about how to cut the holes too. Think it's going to be messy :(

cut the holes out with a nibbler, ive got one that fits in an electric drill, does a lovely cut with no burrs or distortion.
-
Hi where did you get your nibbler from. I take it any diy shop.
