Title: wipers that go forever

can anyone help me, if i sqwirt the washers the wipers sweep about 35 times b4 the stop, it does the same if i switch them on any postion and turn them off str8 away they just keep goin for 30 or so times >:(

this is the first time i'v heard of this happening! ...i bet they start squeeking alot!

sounds like a lazy relay or the self park side u/s on motor :y

there is a side to the motor that enables it to self park, if i recall it  stays live until a cam/or switch [i think] in the motor shuts that power off in the park position, im probably not explaining it that well perhaps somebody else can put it better than me. im only basing it on others ive done before but not on miggys but would think its based on the same theory.

your explaining it ok, i get what u mean, i think its probly just what u say or the relay, i just thought i'd ask wile i'm on hear, cheers

I have this on mine.  >:(

Initial diagnosis suggests a wiper motor issue - the parking contacts as said. I've got a motor waiting to go in mine but haven't got round to it yet. ::)

As a temporary fix try removing the wiper delay relay from the underbonnet relay box by the battery. It won't auto-park but at least you'll be able to stop the wipers.
