Title: coolant mixture??

does anyone know, should the coolant be a slightly stronger mixture at this time of year?

It shouldn't.......it should be 50:50 all year round

if I  go for holiday to Poland january is -25/30 `C
over there , still ok to mix 50/50?

As Mark says 50:50 all year round. Years ago the commom perception was that you only needed "anti-freeze" in your car during the winter. Hence the problems that eg Stags used to have.

Don't be tempted to make the mix stronger.

The secific heat of antifreeze is lower than water so it cools less effectively.

And the freezing point of etyltne glycol goes [size=14]up[/size] after 60%
