Title: heating problem
Post by: bobbertbear on 04 November 2008, 19:05:06
my mate has a t reg estate that i sold him, after i had done an engine change from 2.5 to 3.0 as the big ends were gone in the 2.5 when i got it,i had the car away to bristol on fri night an it was not very warm in the car, would it be the hbv as the temp never got high, sat around the 90 mark, but all seemed ok with water pipes apart from one of the pipes from the valve, seemed to be warm instead of really hot.

Bypass valve vac feed or the bypass valve connected wrongly....

Or the heater matrix needs a flush
