Title: Rear brake pads shims
Post by: lou on 14 November 2008, 16:41:33
Can I replace the original vauxhall rear brake pads with the metal shims with new pads without those shims as they seem only available with genuine vauxhall ones[ u][/u]

I replaced mine with Delphi pads with no additional shims - the worn pads I took out were GM pads and they didn't have any shims so I would guess that you don't need them.  Just my experience :)
