Both have aircon, so will it fit or are they different??
-
It will fit....check the usual with respect to auto box coolers (although after approx 2001 the V6 had a seperate air to oil cooler)
-
Thanks MDTM :) Not meaning to sound dumb here but whats the usual? ;D
-
2.5 and 3.0 have integrated oil coolers for the autobox (on auto cars only), the early 2.6 and 3.2 also had this but, the later ones had a seperate air cooler (not an issue as you simply dont use the one integrated into the rad).
So the answer is yes but, make sure if its an auto that an auto rad is supplied!

Cheers MDTM :) Will check with the guy if he has an auto as I know the 3.0 is :)

In which case not an issue....if its a manual you simply dont have to connect the oil cooler up :y
-
Ok found out it would be going into a 2000 facelift which is a manual...so it would still be ok, just dont connect the oil cooler pipes? Or just dont plug in the oil cooler???

Correct....and if a 2000 model then its not a 2.6 :y

2000 X reg apparently...and a 2.6...is this not a possible combination???

Highly unlikely seeing as the 2.6 was 2001 model year although could be a very early one.
Not an issue though as it will fit....you just dont need to make any connections to the auto box oil cooler.
