Title: fuel filter woe

hi all
just serviced my 96 v6 and all went well untill i got to the fuel filter,i reckon its the origonal,honest i aint joking you should see it...any way the quick release clips arent to be honest,and bieng tucked right up where it is is a pain.i have access to a ramp and x amount of kit but still it wont shift.myself my collegue and his mate have all had a go using all the tricks we use on customers cars but without doing damage to the fuel lines still nuttin.what i need is the proper removal tool as mentioned in the haynes book of lies.anybody point me in the right direction or at least tell me its proper name.thanks

Its not a quick fix I'm afraid, but may help.  The first one I did had been on 4 years and was a dog.

To far from me.

The correct tool is the key on this.

I changed one yesterday on a 2002 Corsa where you could smell fuel.....this car has a full service history yet the filter was original and had rotted through!

managed to replace it last Saturday with only 2 screwdrivers for tools, but was not easy i agree

so the correct tool is not, 2 screw drivers and a third hand with large helping of pita? :-)
