No. It was childish, repetitive, unbelieveable and , after years of admiring Clarkson, I'm starting to find him irritating.

I still enjoy the show, but I can see Victor Meldrew's point of view.

It all seems so scripted now. It's like watching hammy actors,
living up to the stereotype roles that have been created for them.

It's like all those buddy buddy cop movies and series, that
Hollywood churns out ad nauseum.  :P

I feel that it has moved so far away from what Top Gear is all about, that it should be given another name and made into a different show.

I enjoy watching it, but I used to like road tests and track action all the time, rather than spending 30 minutes arguing with each other in the studio during the "news" (most weeks) - or driving sh1theaps across africa?

VW was the best car in the end.

The beetle didn't really drive through the salt pan/river etc did it..

Quite entertaining I thought - better than the tired studio (hangar) routine,  but the trip to the pole was best by far.

You can always turn the channel over or hit the off button.

Personally I thought it changed after Hammonds accident. The last series was prety poor as they took most of the ass twitching stuff out of it. But to be fair I still prefer it to some of the other programs on the box.

Well said!  I was astonished at the low standard of the prog, before long they'll either, lose the show or get Noel Edmunds back!

As said, switch the channel or turn the tele off, why do people watch something they think is rubbish :question :question
