no way will you need a ecu matey ! more likely to be crank sensor :y
-
More likely to be throttle body or pedal.....
The codes will reveal all
-
if ecu set, where can I it buy from, any website?

You won't need a new ECU ;)
-
I do have the ecu out on my hands, looks brand new! how can I make sure it is damaged, frankly speaking I do not trust the Opel dealer here saudi at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
If you do the pedal test, that will tell you where the fault is
-
hello elite, how sure you are
-
how will the test show me the where fault is
-
The pedal test costs nothing, takes a few minutes to do and will point you in the right direction as to the real fault.

You have 2 options:
1, Spend hundreds on a new ECU and then come back when you have a car that still doesn't run, or
2 Do the pedal test, post the results up on here and take the advice. This option is free and Mr DTM is rarely wrong ;)
-
When a fault is detectd, the ECU stores an error code.
By reading the codes using the pedal trick we can get a better idea of the real fault and ensure you get the right part to solve your issue
-
Thanks elite, I watched the vedio, did you mean that the fault will be shown as light or what?

The light flashes out the fault codes. ;)
