Hi guys
im toying with the idea of removing my roof bars from my Omega Estate, i wont ever be using them and im keeping the car for quite a while, still cant afford my dream car yet! >:(
Petrols gone down in Price so im a bit better off at the moment :)

Plus you'd have to do something with the holes. ;)
Audi & others even make a statement with them & chrome them.

That's a nice car you have there and it would be a shame to leave marks on the roof. Very, very expensive to have your roof filled and resprayed / blended in with that metallic champagne gold colour.

It can look nice to have a smoother look.
Personally to smooth your car off a bit I'd sooner be looking at colour coding the door strips and bumpers 1st. It is also less expensive and doesn't involve blending paint.

this had aerial holes etc as was police, i had the roof refurbed and painted and a mate charged under £200 incl puffing over some small marks on the bumpers, looks nice without the bars.

Agreed Simon. You also have the benefit of the colour coded trim, but I will say that white is a whole lot easier and cheaper to work with and blend in than metallic champagne gold with lacquer which is what the man above would have to contend with.
