Title: Ronnie Mcburger
Post by: ronnies_brother on 07 November 2007, 23:14:17
Hello forum. I am Al, Ron's brother. I just wanted to let you know on his behalf that he has now been signed off from the hospital following a very worrying year. The illness he had was more than just his back, but he is now clear of that scare. Ron would probably not want me to say so, but he is very grateful for all the support he had on here over the year. I know he is not a member any more but he is keeping in touch with some members. Thanks.

Hi Al,
Can you please pass on this to RMB.
Glad to hear things are OK, hope you get better soon. The Forum has gone to the dogs since you left, the merest hint of an Oil topic and TB is deleting post count all over the place. Also one of the members, who was an upright person before hand , has sold his Miggy and bought some sort of grass car, alfalfa ?. He's now talking about some foreign thing a Mreck ?. Your guiding hand is sorely missed. I'm sorry I haven't yet got to meet you, but I had a good excuse, my car was broke, and there wasn't a Tech 2 for many miles. According to MarkTDM, your repair skills are second to none, so I hope you get better soon and return to the Miggy fold. Elite Pete has found a few bargains on Fleabay that I'm sure will awaken your interest in things Omega. Just a though, with your bargaining skills, and the recent price rise in petrol, couldn't you organise a bulk buy of LPG kits then pick up Omega's at a bargain price, convert them and sell at "a very reasonable price" to the ever willing punters who are getting worried by the cost of refilling up their alphas and mercs
Cheers Ken

I have passed all the messages on to him, thank you. I know he did a solo engine and gearbox on his wifes Ford Focus last week, so he is still keeping busy.
