Title: engine running problems omega 2.5 v6 cdx
Post by: Simon_Omega on 04 December 2008, 16:29:30
having changed dis pack, firing is better, and changed the maf, there is still a firing/combustion problem.

oil filler bit watery and salad creamy, and i took the throttle boddies off the inlet and they where shitty and the two air pipe feeds to the black bit on the top where blocked,  cleaned up and seemed better for a moment but not great still.

all cylinders seem to fire, just a combustion/fueling problem?
no fault lights only the MAF code in the memory from where i took off while running to try solve the riddle!

im at a push on what more i can try now.  i unplugged the crank sensor and the car cut out, plugged in and it ran.

there is not light to indicate crank sensor but,  if they break down, do the cars still run at all? as pulling the plug kills it full stop.

i have almost run out of straws to clutch at now!

any help welcomed,  any one who cracks it and wants to come do it £££ !

Have you changed the spark plugs and leads?? Usually dispac failure is as a result of oil in spark plug wells casuing shorts...damages the leads, also possibly the plugs before taking out the dispac!
