Title: oil cooler pipes

hi all
has anybody tried to change the oil cooler pipes for v6, and what is the best way to get the old ones out ie: bottom- up or up bottom.

Ive never known anyone have to change them, are they damaged?

Fiddly but can be done....up through the valley

Oh alright, somebody had to...

I guess you can cut the old ones out any old how. I imagine getting the new ones in will be the challenge. They ll be fitted to the engine before the engine is fitted to the car so might be a battle.

.......and possibly a crank sensor cable clipped to them!

I was just comeing back to mention that, i newer layed eyes on where they attached when i did my oil cooler, as i never got the bottom nuts off through lack of a flair spanner.

So they are cliped to each other and not clipped to the block via bracket and bolt?

Not connected to the block other than at either end

but the bad luck wont leave me alone, filter case is turning loose, so i stopped for now, after my holiday i shall do something about it,
