i fitted heated leather to my brother in laws gls today but i have come across a problem :(
basically the car is wired for the heated seats front and rear but however where the two switches go on the centre console there are no wires for the switch on either side yet the wires are present under the seats ,,,,, any ideas anyone?

ok, so you wont feel lonely ill reply, but you wont wanna hear it.
the car in question was not fitted with the full cd/cdx/elite loom, some sections of the vaux loom including just about every boggo omega inc the "select" (mega boggo) had the wiring under the seats but not behind dash, I have stripped a whole loom looking for the missing pins or a way to add the factory wiring for behind the dash and im afraid its a no go.
you can however wire each seat individually through a relay/fuse and connect to the back of one of the genuine heated seat switches.
cheapest and easiest thing to do is put your pants in the tumble drier for 10 mins before you put them on, then run out to the car as quick as you can roflmao ;D ;D

You wont need a relay.....just 2 wires....the rest of the wires are already behind the dash and the relay is under the seat!

Hi mark, would you possibly know how i go about this, ?
i know there are two wires under each seat which obviously would need to be connected to the switch which i believe are brown and black/red on passenger side and brown and yellow/black drivers side or visa/versa and at the switch end there are obviously the same colour wires ! i also believe the grey feed on the rear of the switch is the power feed that illuminates the switch,
am i going in the right direction or am i completely wrong
the rears are easy as it is fully wired for heated seats with exception for the small piece of loom required under the seats with the relay etc
