Title: Autobox problems?
Post by: scooby_doo_do on 12 December 2008, 22:22:03
After fixing the missfire i had with the new omega (spark plug lead on passenger back was split) i took the car out for a spin - stuck on the sports mode and thought i'd see if the cars got any power at all.
I noticed it seemed ok, but on one instance the rev's went flying up, but the car didn't seem to move - it was if the clutch hadn't engaged?
Any ideas?
The car's a 1996 cdx 2.5 V6 - i only paid £500 for it, as i needed a run around as my ultima's in the garage.

There's a lot of oil around the sump - where's the autobox dipstick?, does it have one? - i most certainly would like to check that!

Thanks

Craig.

No dipstick. Check level via filler plug. Guide in "Maintenance" section. :y
