Hi all,
I have just bought a set of steel wheels which came - lucky me - with the bolts.
Although the former owner assured me that the bolts are genuine and belong to the steel wheels I think they don't do.
I think I need radius bolts like these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/14mm-X-1-5-Radius-Wheel-Bolts-VW-Audi-Lancia-etc_W0QQitemZ220261318532QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72257QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
But what I have got is this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-replacement-aftermarket-wheel-bolts-Std-X-Long_W0QQitemZ220267273405QQihZ012QQcategoryZ72257QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
As mounting the wheels with the wrong bolts can be quite dangerous I would like you to check if I really got the right ones.
Thanks!

If the wheels are for a vauxhall then they should be the conical shaped ones and not the radius ones. So you have the right bolts.

just make sure they aint too long, i had some locking bolts from my old cavalier, i put them on my miggy & went to pull away & "bang", found they had gone too far into the rear hub & locked up on the handbrake mech inside, have since chopped them down & all is fine :y

def conical as said above - just checked the length of mine and approx 47mm overall with about 21mm of thread and 11mm of cone :y

@all: Thanks for your replies!
I really would have thought that the conical ones got the proper oposite like they have with the alloy wheels (usually).
Originally they came from a Saab.
Will check the length for sure before doing any bigger moves!
