Does anyone know the whereabouts of a drawing/photo of the side of a 2.5 litre. I've got an oil leak which i can't for the life of me see where its coming from.
Doesn't appear to be HG or CamGaskets and yet despite a good cleanup over the weekend, its back. It seems to be low down in the engine, slightly above the oil filter...MIGHT possibly be the small pipes above the oil filter are leaking but would like to "see" whats in that region. If I had a small, well trained mouse I'd send him up there with a torch to investiagte and perhaps take some pictures but until he's trained up...I'm kinda stuck.

Wow..THANKS guys..very interesting pictures.
Both hit the spot...it apears to be coming from above the silver corrigated pipe somewhere to be honest...Will take the pictures and have another look to compare....
VERY GRATEFULL.

No seals on the oil cooler pipes at the blcok end.....I have seen them leak. But this is normlay following an oil cooler change where some heathen has not followed advice and bent the pipes (it loosens the joints on the block).
Normaly tweaking them up with a crows foot spnner sorts them out (assuming this is what it is).
