Title: Door Lock Problems

I know I must overhaul my c/l in the New Year, but I have a baffling problem that has just started to really bug me.

First my front passenger door lock/button started to not always unlock or lock; sometimes it will, sometimes not.  Put a load of WD40 down the side of the button and it got slightly better, but then went bad again.

Yesterday went to unlock the car in my garage with the remote as usual, only to have the locks activate, buttons go up, flashing lights, and then the bloody system re-lock itself!!! >:( >:(

Now it keeps on happening, and the only way to stop the re-locking is to quickly open the back passenger door before the c/l automatically locks again!! :o :o >:( >:(

Found out today about buying a new solenoid/motor for one lock, but what else could the problem be please?? :-? :-?   Is a quick temporary fix possible? :-? :-?

no quick fix lizzie your gona have to replace soleniod !  :(
