Title: Headlamp wash relay
Post by: LFF64 on 20 December 2008, 20:00:03
I have fitted the headlamp wash bits to my car today , its actually a fairly easy job to do .
I managed to get the old small tank out without taking the bumper off but no way would the bigger tank go in without taking it off again I am surprised how easy that was to do  ;)
Right question is where does the relay go  :-? and do I need to do anything else to get them to work .
Am I correct in thinking they only operate with ignition on and lights on  :question

They only work with ignition and sidelights or headlights on... dunno about the relay, will let others advise on that score...

Yesterday I got the relay working seems it was just dirty contacts in the relay base . Problem now is only the drivers side washer sprays water . I have taken the pipe off of the passenger side and water comes out of the pipe when operated so the pipe is not blocked .
Any suggestions , the pipe is securley fitted to the unit .
