Title: Which relay?
Post by: Chopsdad on 18 November 2008, 21:54:27
I still have no interior lights and wonder now if the relay is buggered.

Which one serves the interior lights, door lamps, and rear 12v socket & where is it located.

I know it's not the big black one that operates the hazzards if that helps at all.

TIA :y

look in the haynes manual?
there's a fuse in the fuse panel under the steering wheel think it's f12 or something which is for interior lights and stuff

Oh come on you useless clever lot!

I've tested the fuses and short of tracing each wire back from the battery the relays seemed the next best bet.

Thanks for trying ngraingey but I don't have a Haynes - I have OOF ::)

Help - it's dark oop north  :-/

What a bloody silly place to hide them >:(

Is it likely to be the cause of my ills?  I've lost all interior lights and 12v rear socket after smashing interior boot lamp (and glove box). :-?

I finally got round to fixing the lights today.

I went to the scrappy and got a new lamp holder - and got fleeced for £3  :o

Anyhoo, I've located the elusive relay - the green one - but can't release the little bugger.

Is it just a case of pulling or is there some catch to release first?

I'm sure they just pull out.
