Hi guys,
Not sure what happened to my original post but I reported some problems and you guys told me to check my codes using the pedal method. Anyway, I reported rough idleing and misfire followed by poor performance when I accelarated hard. I gave the car to my mechanic and he told me he had to replace the coil pack. It seems to be a bit smoother but the gear shifting is terrible, it doesn't seem to know when to shift up or down. Anyway, here's my codes:
0300
0302
0303
0306
0120
0220
1111
1600
1204
They all point toward the probs I had apart from the last one, I might have got that wrong, my eyes started to glaze over by that point!
Let me know what you think, coil pack fix the problem? or is there more issues? Like I said, gear shifting seems to be the only real prob now.

have a look here,

030* are missfire codes so going in the right direction as you say.

The 0300 codes could still left from your misfire, SWMBO's Astra still had the 0302 code a few days later after I fixed the cause ie new plug. Ideally you need all codes cleared to see what crops up again.
Your mechanic changed the coil pack? You have two of 'em one for each bank of 3 cylinders. :y

I got the 0120 and 0220 codes after I replaced my timing belt - turns out I hadn't re-fitted all the vacumn connections fully. I still get those codes after 30+ restarts, although the car runs fine, so I'd guess yours are a hangover from the misfires.
As said before, get 'em reset then see what is left!
I take it you need a techII to reset the codes?

cheapo techII's, ELM 327 or Maxscan will reset the codes on an OBDII car ... 2.6 and 3.2 are OBDII afaik :)

Nicely timed edit - I was just about to ask if a DBW 2.6 is OBDII - I could do with getting my codes reset at the next meet / cambelt party.

Timing belt was replaced also, the job was done by an independant mechanic who I know for a fact is not into reseting codes. So I need to find a special tool to reset? What about the vacumn connections, are you talking rubber connections in general or something specific?
Thanks again.

Sorry to confuse you - I'd merely forgotten to reconnect all the connections to the plenum when putting it back on, so it wouldn't start and had the 0120 and 0220 codes. I eventually went back over my work carefully and connected three (!) hoses I'd forgotten to attach and it started fine - runs well now, but I still have the codes showing when I do the pedal test.
(I'd forgotten to attach the vacumn servo hose (right side of plenum to the rear), multiram vacumn hose (tiny vacumn pipe under the front multiram) and one of the rear breather box hoses - it slipped off when I was re-rerouting the vacumn servo hose.)
According to the posts above, any decent OBDII code reader may be able to reset them, but it's no big deal. My EML light isn't on, so I just see them when I check with the pedal test every now and then.
