Hello everyone,

I was wondering, What is it ?
and in what it helps ?

it's marked in the pic, an X25XE Block.

Looking at it, it's a one way valve. Most likely to stop oil returning to the filter once it's passed through. Hope that helps and welcome to OOF :y

Its a bypass valve.....so if the filter gets clogged the engine is not starved of oil!
