Title: prefacelift gearbox into facelift?

Hi all, im converting a 3.2v6 facelift mv6 auto to manual, was wondering if a prefacelift 3.0l gearbox would fit it if i used the prefacelift flywheel aswell.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yep...make sure its off a 3.0 (R28 box and bigger flywheel and clucth)

dont you need to swap the bellhousing also?

Nope....only when fitting to a TD....if you hve abox with a removeable bell housing

ok... i didnt think the prefacelift auto boxes went onto the facelifts and visa versa without swapping a bellhousing (thought they have different bellhousings for some reason)
