Mmmm as ive just been on say a 40 mile round trip teh car was running fine, just dropped the Mrs dad home and pulled off and my EML light was just flickering, no running probs at all, then it went off, i pulled up and restarted the car for a 15 mile trip back and it never came on all the way home.
If it was not permanantly on would it stoor a snapshot of a problem or would it need to be on for like 10 mins or so?
As i dont think it actually stayed on perm it just flickered!
Its had the belt done at Vauxhall the other day but it is in need for a service and its only done 25 000 miles since 2003 so im guessing its proberly somthing silly?
Will do a paper clip test at bigheds next week i think :)
Is there anything prone on these when doing low milage as its got only 65k on the clock, is there anything i can do maintanance wise like check teh Maf for dust or clean out the EGR Valve or would you just do a paper clip test? The prob is i dont think its going to have stored anything as it ws a flickering that lasted 2 seconds or a lil more?

Sweet so its drivers side, am i ok ordering this or could it be down to anything else?

I'd say give it an "Italian Decoke" first to burn any crud off the sensor - great fun and will cost a gallon of fuel...
BTW, Italian Decoke = drive it like you stole it, just get the engine up to temp first!

Sweet,ile try that.
