Title: electric seat probs

hey guys have a 02 2.2 diesel with electric seats . the driver side seat is not moving up or down  when i hit the button but it moves very slightly so guess the motor works because i also hear it whirring
any ideas

Is this still just as easy if the motor can't still be heard?  Just the addition of a new motor?
