Name me a car that doesn`t have gremlins :P Good luck with your Miggy and if or when you do come across any probs with it you can rest assured that there will always be somebody here to offer you sound advice :y :y
P.S. Forgot to say "Welcome to the forum" :y

the 2.0 cdx is no more prone to problems than the rest of the range, there are the usual culprits on all models, but with time and the right advice most if not all can be fixed cheaply.
give a list of whats up? you say lots has been done to the car, what exactly?
cheers and welcome :y

it has had water pump, alternator, battery, plugs and leads changed, service every year, new tyres etc,its a gem i hope.it does need discs and pads but i hope thats not to bad, also if you know how cheap/expensive to do ball joint(advise on mot as worn).
thanks to all,i will just drive it and enjoy it,thank you again,i feel alot better now : :y

its easier to replace the whole wishbone arm, as no doubt by the next mot the bushes in it will need doing, change them in pairs tho.
have a look on ebay for "omega wishbones" some decent prices. brake pads and disc I recomend you get from vaux as the cheaper ones warp easy.
have fun! :y
