Title: abs ecu? which numbers need to match

I have just removed the abs ecu to check the numbers on the sticker. which numbers do I need to match up for a replacement?
Also does anybody know what is done to repair the unit? is it just soldering?

I think its the last three numbers.... just taken one off a 2.5 today the last numbers are 206  :y

I must get round to posting some pics.

There are a pair of bond wires from the main contacts moulded into the plastic body to the hybrid circuit board which break.....

Mini facelift 2.0 will have unit ending in 205, mini facelift v6 will end in 206...pre mini facelift will be completely different and end in 001 002 003 004 etc...not sure about facelift...
