Short of pulling the plug on the unit (which is a right pita to lock back in!) any ideas on the best way to switch off the ABS? (Temporarily stylee) :)
-
Pull its fuse? Not sure what else is on same fuse though. You'll certainly lose speedo and some of the PAS as well
-
Switch on the dash obviously not good enough? :D

Cheers TheBoy... When I first test drove it the ABS was undone and as you said the speedo and ABS did not work, but I think the steering was ok (although cant remember that well)
And... Well this is embarrasing! I have managed to change the clutch... but where is the fuse box?! ;D :D ::) :-[ (same as a carlton? Its cold out!)

If you put a blown brake light bulb in and drive and keep dabing the brakes the ABS/TC lamps will come on after about a mile but you will still have the speedo working for the rest of the drive cycle

How the devil do you manage to work that one out???
Doh..just thought about it...

London road Coventry at 5pm!!!

Lol, although a bit gay I wonder why it does that?! ;D
I think I may have a loose rear light wire then as the ABS light come on occasionally.
Just want to cancel the ABS (and ideally the thing that cuts the engine when you have the brake and gas down at the same time) as TC needs to be off all the time anyway, but I only want to select the ABS for 'proper' drift days/events :)
