Title: Reflection V6 2.5
Post by: electrocad on 28 January 2009, 08:10:46
Hi to all, I am a newbie who has recently bought the biggest load of problems you could imagine.
Since I bought the Reflection a few months ago I have had the following problems :-

Both rear springs broken
Near side steering joints worn
Both front discs and pads replaced (MOT Failure)
Rear Exhaust Box replaced
Head Gasket repaired ( £500.00 quoted for replacements )

Now yesterday - the first trip since having the head gasket repaired) - Electronics warning light came on & went off again after about 2 Mins
I've just started the Beast up again & now the warning light is on again.

Question - does anyone know if this is caused by a common cause, or could it be anything - trip to Vauxhall dealer with £heaps.

Thanks for listening,

Regards to all

Malcolm

Hi Malcome and welcome to the forum.

The first thing I would do is the paperclip test to find out what the code is.

Here's how

hmm  when you say head gaskets repaid what do you mean?

agree: paperclip it and go from there.

update your profile as well as there may be someone near you to help

lastly.... don't give up yet.  the reflection may be 'poverty spec' in some eyes but i'm happy with mine
