Title: If its not one thing.........coolant problem
Post by: ScottieMV6 on 29 January 2009, 14:00:48
Just flushed heater matrix out - worked a treat, seem to have heat in car now. :y

However, I now have a new problem, coolant is now rising up the reservoir and overflowing out of the top (cap off).

Fix one problem and another appears!

That's what's supposed to happen!  ;)  It should be a closed system ie witha pressure cap on. Put the cap on and run it.  :y

:y It's the same reason you don't take the cap off a hot/running engine. You end up scalded.  ;)
