The migs disgraced itself again
:(
Its failed on a steering idler, I've ordered one today
But its also failed the emissions test on the lambda reading on the 2nd fast idle
How do I rectify this? new lambda sensor? if so where is it

Did you give it a good thrashing before the test?
Normally cures emission failures :y :y :y :y

The 2.2 I've got here failed on high lambda readings but the exhaust was leaking like a seive! Held together with jubilee clips and bean cans just before the back box and the actual back box had plate steel held on with roofing screws ;D GOD was it heavy!

sorry to hear the mig failed
what about a can of forte gas treatment in the tank for the emissions should cost about a tenner but it does work
im sure you will a years cert soon

Did it fail by a lot?
I assume the exhaust was ok as they didn't fail that..
How long since it was serviced? Particualrly filters (air/fuel), plugs. Breather clean and oil change would do no harm. Worth doing all this if its been a while.
Does a paperclip test through up any codes?
Worth giving it a decent run if it hasn't had one, used for short journeys etc.
