C25XE and X25XE
Are there any major differences between these two engines?
Are they both 54° V6? The major differences I see are the intake.
Also while searching I find a C20XE, what was this? Is this a part of the same family?

C25XE has a different sump as it was designed to be mounted transversely and the downpipes curve underneath.

So essentially they are the same.
Are they compatible?

Pretty much the same......different engine managemnet system but thats pretty much it.
The inlet setup was not as good as the X25XE and lacked multiram....obviously only a 2.5

C20XE is the infamous redtop 150bhp 16V 4 pot

What I'm really asking is, that in reallity the C25 and X25 share same block and head design?
Are there interchangable parts between the two? I understand the intake system was different though, but could you use the X25 intake on the C25?
-
Yes you could :y

The reasons I ask is because, the online info says that the X is the Eco-Tec version of the C25. If the heads and block are pretty much the same, what makes the X Eco-Tec?
-
I remember reading that the C25 had different cams.
This might help:

Be rude not to put a set of 3.0 cams in while you're at it though. ::)
