Hi all,
Just done a paperclip test on my 2001 2.6 v6 CD and the result is a continuous flashing orange light.
Can anyone let me know what this indicates.
Cheers

paperclip or pedal trick test? you can't paperclip 2.6

Sorry Pedal trick

Sorry Pedal trick
not come across a 2.6/3.2 without fault codes, but suspect it means no codes stored.

constant fast flashing means immobiliser signal not being received...
Are you sure your reading it correctly...should get for example 10 flashes followed by a slight gap then maybe another ten flashes (10 represents 0) and so on...

not in this case. If it was immobiliser, it would flash when trying to start, but would flash out immobiliser fault code during pedal trick

Pedal trick on DBW.. continuous flashing = no stored faults .. this has been confirmed on mine using both the ELM327 and the MaxScan .. :)

constant flasshing equals no codes as said, no codes on mine since Kevin wood tech 2d it to clear speed sensor code that had cleared itself anyway. ;D :y
