If you can smell coolant in the cabin I'd suggets a failed heater matrix.  :( Do you have any wet carpets and misting up problems?

the matrix could be just leaking enough to give off smell and cause the windows to staem up.

Yes its a cow to change, not sure if there is a how to or not :-/

matrix must be changed..

if you dont want to cut the driver side board (near feet level) its a long job..

dash ..
radio ..
front light controls ..
steering ..
plastic pipelines behind the dash out (or you will break some connections)
the plastic box covering around hand brake completely ..
and whole front panel out...

its a whole day job (and with some help from another person) :-/
