Title: Onboard phone
Post by: Black Knight on 14 February 2009, 11:00:48
Blagged a sim card of a mater today and managed to get the phone function working. Very impressed. I found there was a lot of noise when making a call and not sure I was heard that well either.

Where abouts the the microphone reciever fitted? I'm sure if I spoke towards it sound quality would be improved.

Also, couldn't seem to adjust th volume - Had the use rotary controller, I'm assuming that the volume control, but didn't seem to have any effect.

Ta.

ccrt700? Pop it out for a couple of hours (if you have the radio code) - these are problematic...

Yes its the 700.

I'll look at getting a removal tool. Prob try and do it in conjunction with the console lamps as a couple of those are out.

The RH side temp contol lamp is out (I assume thats one bulb)

And the 'Eco' button light is out, again I assume thats a single lamp. the button does work as the 'Auto' disengages.

the switches don't have user changeable bulbs, so you'll need to get soldering iron out
