Changing the cam gaskets etc this weekend all going ok at the moment few questions and issues!
when fitting the gaskets to the covers am i then putting the black sealant on the cam housings, the covers or both?
I've just noticed that No.6 exhaust bearing cap has got 1 screw hanging out!!! :o - shall i just re-tighten to 8Nm or would you use thread lock?? or other advice?
cheers guys :y

Black sealant just goes on the cam housing, not on the covers IIRC. And even then its just at a few little places.

Not sure on the bearing cap though, but I've heard a few people discovered this too when doing the cam gaaskets :-/

heard a couple of instances of this now. Id be tempted to lock tight as well personally...? Any thoughts on that? 8nm aint much.

Loctite is of little use on bolts that get hot
