Title: 2.2 dti power loss
Post by: joff on 15 February 2009, 21:37:55
the boss has 2.2 dti cd and when she needs more power(change down a gear)  going up hill(long hill) the little light on the dash comes on and power is lost. So you have to stop turn off the engine. Then off you go and its all OK until the next time. Any one had the same thing? :o

Had a similiar problem with mine.  You can follow what i went through to fix it below.

One thing not mentioned in the link is that when i had the fault code read at the dealers it was in relation to the fuel system.  Can't remember what the code was.
