Just wondering, are load carriers on a facelift wider than a pre-facelift??
Got one for the estate, but the damned thing is too wide... :-/
Cheers ::)

Hi Paul, sorry meant to reply...been rather busy with newborn!!
You have a facelift estate?? Yes the rods are longer on the pre facelift load covers mate
-
No worries Chris :y
No, the estate is a pre-facelift (99 V), but the rods are too long for it... hence the random confusion!
-
paul to get it to work you will need the early side trims with the runners in dead eay to change 4 or 5 screw hold them on :y
-
The side trims have runners im them though, with the little clippy flippy out bits at the rear hatch end ??

The retaining flaps come upwards and remove, the button is in the runners on the flap bit
