Title: Rocket Sound when cold from front passe. 2.0 16 v

Hi
I'v got  a little problem ( i think ) with my omega 1998 2,0 16 V gls auto .
When start cold there is a loud sound like a rocket launch that comes from the passenger front side of the car , stops after aprox 30 sec
Any idea what that is ?And how can i fix it + costs ?

Cost?  Zillions....

Method?

Unplug the seconadary air injection wiring under the front passenger corner, noise will stop, no appreciable effect on economy.
