hi guys
well yesterday i tried startign my car it would not start until 3 attempts and then today was trying to use the cruis and it wud not hold on to the cruise are these signs for worse to come?
-
could it be a vacuum hose fault?
-
only if i knew cud it be caused because of the cam belt?
-
More likely to be failing crank sensor, although not sure if that would explain the cruise...
-
is dta bad?
-
Check the engine fault codes by doing a paper clip test

You only know your cam belt has been changed if you've done it yourself, or have documented proof that it's been done.

it sounds like you have various unrelated problems, each one would need to be looked into individually, a cam belt would not cause the symptoms you are describing, Thats nt to say its not due though.
-
cool how much is it gng to cost me for the cam belt

You are looking at 75ish for a gates kit plus post, try ebay I got mine there, just make sure its a reputable seller with a warranty.

prob about £150 - £200 ish for cambelt
franly it's impossible for the cambelt to goose the cruise unit. Look for faulty stalk (broken switch or wires), blown fuse, broken bowden cable or possibly failing ABS uint (but you'll have no speedo if that goes)
