Are omega's normally noisy from the back end? The back box is not blowing but whilst driving around , it seems quite noisy.I can hear the v6 rumble which is nice but it can get drowned out by the exhaust , any ideas anyone.

may be baffles in the rear box
-
Theres def something not right . it does make a burbling noise though but not a blowing sound.
-
yeah sounds like the baffles have gone in the rear box
try giving the bottom of the box a bang you might here them inside
-
Funny you should say that mate,i cleaned out my throttle body yesterday, and ever since then my backbox sounds a bit throatier.
-
Yes sounds like the back box has collapsed :-/
-
get 2 cherry bombs and weld them together use that as a back box
bet it would sound really good
i'm tempted on doing that myself :-/

It will need to wait for now , got to sort out a new oil cooler yet. The price of a new back box is surprisingly reasonable but got to prioritise.

Nah i used 2x straight outpipes on my MV6 and it sounded okish but drank fuel at an outstanding rate!

V6 mig's dont have a balance pipe in the front sections of the exhaust so the back box does all the work.
Mine had a 6 foot length of string out of the back when the last box failed, but it sounded sweet.
